I don't know if I am hijacking the theme of this thread but would people mind telling me who designed their website and how much it cost (one off payment only or regular payments?)

I have just bought my domain from vista print as you can't see my photos in the gallery on a lot of smart phones/tablets or even some desktops and SEO is poor (AG Tree Services) and am looking to have another one built. Any advice from those who have been through web design would be greatly appreciated as my vistaprint was a simple drag and drop with limited choice. I am now being asked about web hosting, e commerce, how many months SEO to go for and its overwhelming my small brain!

I bought my website

Tree LC from a company called Wowfish Design

I had tried to make one myself before that and it kind of worked but was just really there for show. Didn't really get any work from it.

After they designed a new site for me, the work started to come. Recently they have done marketing and search engine stuff and it has made a massive difference.

Prices wise, it was a few years ago so I wouldn't really want to quote the price but they are really good at putting things together for you bit by bit and kind of take care of everything without any 'web jargon !' I guess in the end, you get what you pay for.

The important thing is that it looks professional and is seen if people are looking for you that way, one good job will pay for your site.

Our website is with MrSite - got the Pro version. Costs £99 a year, up to 50 pages, 10x email addresses, very easy to set up and do yourself with all templates. Technical, support is brilliant - based in London. If you haven't got time they'll do it for you. I've just refreshed mine - took no more than a couple of hours on a Sunday. http://www.hertswoodfuel.co.uk
