sthil 036av farm wood boss.. still going strong!

 

And another; a 1999 036 with 16" bar from Radmore & Tucker in Exeter; price after discount was £465. Still going strong altho I have retired it and run the CS-600 echo as my 60cc er since.

 

That was the first saw I bought; the first I ever used was either a 242xp or a Sachs Dolmar 113. The 242s were fast but the dolmars were gutsy and sweet.

Mine was a MAKITA DCS SERIES with an 18" bar had it 14 years ago, i cane in a big red metal box and leaked chain oil from day 1 but never let me down, and great ground-saw with plenty of torque.. It was stolen in the end but be she's still running just had that indestructible feel to her...
