some of the main branches over the road could (almost) haved been dropped down. we only used the crane to protect the sidewalk and road. therefore we didn't place several chains on them, as it didn't matter if they rolled a bit. we made sure that they swung away a bit from the climber, so no danger :-)

 

we rarely use a chipper when we can gain access with the lorry. its 15 meter crane lifts wood a lot better than the backs of my buddies on the ground ! :-)

and it is easy to get rid of branch waste around here, so no need for noisy chippers.

Love the vid just wondered if you have any tips on crane work like the type of cuts you can use etc i have never used a crane before but done loads of rigging any advice would be great as im sure a crane job will pop up at some point:thumbup1:
