My series was the perfect town car! Convertible too so had the babe magnet effect.....

To be fair, its advisable to clean after a heavy mudding to prevent chassis damage so a lot of the cleaner ones you see may very well be used in the proper fashion just looked after properly too.

My next door neighbour has a nice black shiny latest generation Discovery, with big wheels and blacked out windows. He seems to use it as his mobile office - seems to sit in it outside his house for hours at a time on his phone. Hmmmm.

HI MATE your neighbour out watching TV ours had one :lol:jon

A very well dressed woman put her 110 down a ditch across from my house a couple of winters back . Same thing.. hadn't a clue what all the little levers and stuff were . I jumped in and reversed it out ( no other vehicle could have done this imo ) which is why i bought a 90 , and love it. Would not have it as anything other than a workhorse though .:001_smile:

This was before I transformed the old girl into a wood grain lovely fill your boots machine.. I will post a pic of the iroco boarded beauty in its full glory after I have checked it out for the odd mud splash & got her looking her best

So many folks over here will purchase similar types of transport for only one reason, A Status Symbol. It cracks me up to see folks that are willing to part with 75,000 +++ for the sake of looking cool?. As the expression go's fools and their $$$$ are often parted.
