All depends on what work you do! Domestic then you will almost certainly all say 6" tow behind if your doing site clearance/commercial then sky's the limit all depending on how much timber you want to save IMO:-)

I agree as much bigger is a loss of firewood unless you are into biomass fuel or the like's.

750kg 6" either a tw150 or GM quad chip.... TW is a good machine as described before the ford Mondeo of the chipper world.

They chip productively and quickly and parts are easily available.

I have no issue chipping everything I can and no issue towing weight, so I have a vermeer 935. However this wouldnt suit you at all by the sound of it, so i would say get a 6" such as the quadchip.

we use a gravely pro chip 9",,eats most things, but i log anything over 4" anyway,,,just dont have to sned so much,as when we rent a jenson 6" tracked,,notice the difference, but it is weighty,,,,
