Husqvarna at Costco

I know its a small saw but my local Costco had Husqvarna 240 chainsaws on Saturday for £136.99 plus VAT - £164.38 with 14 inch bar. May be of interest to someone.

 

They also had Husqvarna petrol blowers for £200.

 

They have only stocked Ryobi in the past.

Also noticed these and also noticed they're made in China. Not sure where Husqvarna make their chainsaws at the moment?

The huskys I've used have made in Sweden on them!

I was not aware of any made in China. The 236e that I have in my showroom at present is defo made in sweden.

The 240 is not on the 2012 Huskie price list.

Thats not unusual. A lot of costco's "hardware" stuff is sourced through the states.

I think you will find the 236 is the uk equivalent

domestic saw.

Mine is 'Assembled' in Sweden. So would imagine most of it is made in China or the like.

 

Just like most things.

 

Nice little saw though, but in no way suitable for pro users.

Not uncommon for small domestic stuff to come out of china, stihl make some of there stuff in china!
