Hi there ive just bought a vermeer chipper bc625i and looked over the chipper good this weekend i found that it needs a new drive belt and ideally new set of springs for the roller still some life in them though anyways ive found its really hard to find any parts online ive emailed vermeer uk but is there anywhere else i should try ideally norfolk way

As others have said, the belts are best sourced from an engineering factor.

 

You can get the springs made for a fraction of OEM’s cost, take what you have to a spring maker and ask them to make like for like.

You may have a 4week parts only warranty on this machine. Would you not try the vendor. If you got it from the same place we got our last recon chipper from that's what he told us. Our even ask them where they,d get parts. Might be worth a try.

BTrac died the death some years ago when there was a change in ownership. It is now called Vermeer UK Ltd.

 

Still the same old ultra rip off merchants though. Some bit's you have to buy from them though, just try and source as much as you can elsewhere.
