Often see (or have a heart attack as) a Woodcock erupts from in just front in front of me as I'm walking through the woods in winter. This one was feeding in the meadow this morning.

White tailed eagle here last week, the ewe that has an udder full of milk to feed her lamb and the usual mother/ child bond was distraught to say the least.

Yeah nice. There are a few threesomes on the pond and a couple of pairs here. 

 

A pair of Egyptians turned up on Saturday and have hung about for feeding which is pleasant. 

 

Now its the waiting game to see who has success with chicks. Then its the defense from the crows.....

 

Anywhoo, hopefully there are more than less by the end of the season. :thumbup1:
