Show us ya birds !

Funny that, we saw 7 egrets in a field on our 7.5 mile walk today. Feeding in a flooded field, unusual as they are more a wetland bird and not seen round here much.

Cranes flying North, Spring on the way, hopefully! I heard them just after lunch, 3 skeins going over calling out. Taken with my new camera, needless to say I haven't a clue what I'm doing!

Are the rooks mixed with jackdaws ? They seem to be next to me . Just as dawn is breaking they get off roost and the sky is black with them and the jackdaws make a hell of a din !
