Cranes flying North, Spring on the way, hopefully! I heard them just after lunch, 3 skeins going over calling out. Taken with my new camera, needless to say I haven't a clue what I'm doing!

Are the rooks mixed with jackdaws ? They seem to be next to me . Just as dawn is breaking they get off roost and the sky is black with them and the jackdaws make a hell of a din !
