Brutal birds, often work in pairs👎.

Can't deny their intelligence, even though I'm not very fond of the damage they do to their victims.

Mate for life and defend territories against all.

Amazing agility for large birds, they do acrobatics and sometimes lock claws in flight. Im fortunate to have dozens of pairs within 10 miles of me...

They use 'tools' to get at food (e.g sticks to find insects in crevices).

They absolutely fascinate me.

That last experience I had with a pair, they had set upon a lambing ewe, the lamb which was halfway out of ewe had its tongue taken, vaginal area around lamb was damaged, they had pecked through ewes udder, milk and colostrum pouring out, and for good measure they took an eye out of the ewe!

Fascinating.
