I’m sure we aren’t having at bad as Scotland but nonetheless our village is all bit cut off. Closed up the shop earlier and keeping our fingers crossed the water doesn’t get any higher.

Managed to get through the village but instantly regretted driving through the flood. Had my floor flat to the floor in 1st and riding the cough a little to keep the exhaust clear but it was struggling to keep itself clear…sketchy wash the word. Cars won’t get through and give it another hour and I doubt much of anything bar a tractor will

A guy just posted this on the village facebook group, he was just about to start wading through when we turned up. Wound down the window to speak to him and he said he had just seen a truck like mine drive though, which is when the 'sod it' attitude kicked in. Looking at this pic I think I got quite lucky

@Steve Bullman Hope  all your kits OK and also others in the path of these storms are fairing well. We're pretty  lucky down here, for which I'm very grateful, fingers crossed for all 🤞

Floods here too. Roads full and it appears to have just about stopped rising before going in to my workshop , fingers crossed. Don't think any houses are lower in the village so fingers crossed we're all ok, but do feel for those people who've had it in.
