Was he right???

The second the lad swore at the conductor the rules changed, he showed no respect for authority and then started swearing infront of woman and kids.

Every train, bus, taxi rank, street should have a Big Man.

There is a saying, if there were as many big men as there was wee men, there would be no wee men left :)

If the young lad had lost his money and was desperate and dealt with it diferently, I bet the big man would have given him the money.

he wasn't a bully, he was a peacekeeper.

If you listen to the lad's story then he had bought a ticket but the wrong one. He evidently spends £200 per month on train travel to Uni but had had a night on the town and travelled a bit worse for wear. I have no idea if this is true though. Personally I think it was a matter between the train operator and British Transport Police.

Was he "violent"???

He physically man-handled a much smaller person out of his seat, dragged him bodily down the centre aise roughly enough to impact on other seated passengers and then threw him onto the platform. While I sympathise with the sentiment ( I hate cocky little scrotes like that who don't give a damn about anyone else), I have to say that, yes, I think he used excessive force on another person who was offering no physical threat to anybody.

Gentlemen, load your weapons and feel free to blaze away :sneaky2:

If I was waiting to get home. I would have thrown the turd of the train no matter how big he was or at least had a go. But then those that have met me know I am not exactly 7 stone myself. If you dont have a ticket and get caught then you should take it on chin and at least get off unless you are a slimey free loading system cheat that has been getting away with it for years. Bet he thinks twice next time. :001_smile:
