why are spikes so expensive???

im in the market for some spikes after having my old pair stolen back home in england but cant get my head round why the are so damn expensive:001_huh: i wanted some titanium buckinghams after using my friends over here but i cant find any cheaper than £300!!! you can buy an old car cheaper than that!!! found some steel bashlins for £186 that seem good but never used them, has anyone on here???

 

PS if anyone has a decent second hand pair going let me know please!!:thumbup:

They are mega money and it does seem difficult to understand why, they're not a safety critical item afterall.

I would really like some nice ali spurs, but I have a set of steel ones with leather straps & pads which I paid 90 quid for from a guy selling them on eBay in Leominster.

I believe the 'brand' is 'Arbtechnish' if that means anything at all...?!

They are perfectly functional and serviceable spurs, but they won't win and kit bag bling contests!

i paid £50 for an almost new on ebay, get hunting :biggrin:

 

£50 are you sure! I sold a pair of my dads bashlins that where 16 yrs old and advertised as that. All I done was clean them up and they sold for £140 and had 18 bids.

£50 is for nothing I have never seen them go for that kind of money.
