Went to start the processor today and found that the chain oil was leaking out, the oil pipe had been chewed through, I took the cover off and found the other oil supply pipe too! Gud the must have been after the bio oil, little buggers! I got them changed and I have now covered them in grease, let's hope that sorts em out.

I have terrible trouble with the little buggers, they ate the little fuel bubble on my brand new stihl pole saw , they chewed the padding on my horse harness for bedding and lots more. I did as you did and put a little industrial grease on my kit and its been ok.

The guy i was working for today says they ate through the plastic fuel tank filler on his disco and it cost him £500 for a second hand replacement( whole tank). Ironically the one he got also had chew marks and was told by the supplier that its very common.
