If a trades man brought a dog to my house when doing a job for me I would send him on his way.

I really don't get how people think its acceptable????????????????????

:dito:

Along time ago one of the lads I worked with(while subbing) brought his dog into work one day, thats all it lasted, one day.

He and his dog would have been found dead under a pile of chip if he had tried it again.

I could see no problem if they are out working in the woods on their own but not on domestic with other lads in the van.:001_huh:

I honestly can't see the negatives if you've ok'd it with the customer at the quote stage?

Dutchie had a great time today, the customers little lad took such a shine to her that they are thinking of getting one of their own (they have got a fair bit of ground).

She did drop a banger on the lawn, which I bagged immediately. One thing worse than picking up dog crap - not picking up dog crap!

3 dogs is maybe a bit much sometimes though, especially at bait time!

When doing log and charcoal on site into sacks then we do as little risk. On felling sites then not at all sensible as enough distractions already to deal with.

Seems pointless to take a dog and leave in a closed vehicle all the work time and running around loose is an accident waiting to happen.

When stopped last week in a tax disc check the Policewomen said she would have given us a fine and licence marks if the dog had not been wearing an approved seat belt harness as all dogs inside on seats now have to use them. (thank goodness we had one)

She was confused as LHD vehicle and dog was in the normal driving position.:lol:

Really? Find that very hard to believe. Has anyone got the know how to find the law on it? I fear it might be one of those "all knives are illegal in public places" (actually had that said to me by a PC) laws...
