Chainsaw beginner - can't get Husq going after refuel

Right, spark plug out, choke in off position, on/switch in off position, turn saw upside down so spark plug hole is facing the floor and pull starter handle quite a few times to see if any fuel and or oil drains out, if so keep doing this until it there is no more fluid pouring out.

Clean and dry spark plug, warming the tip of the plug with a blow torch can help start a flooded engine.

Put the plug back in and start as from cold.

Good luck hope you get it running.

I'm assuming this is the first time you have used a chainsaw and you haven't had any training.

I'd strongly advise you read the manual THOROUGHLY before using your new saw. Not only to ensure it is fuelled and maintained correctly but there are also important instructions for your own safety.

I've taken the cs30, several months ago, but it was a 2 day course and have used the saw about 10 times since. I've just screwed up in refuelling, as use of a saw isn't a daily occurence for me.
