A young guy with a chainsaw and samurai looking saw in the boot is not normal,

With the amount of thieves and nutters in the world I am glad these officers took them.

Your brother should not have access to this type of kit unless he is trained to use it, young lads have been known to do silly things :)

Fair point, especialy if he is driving in town of a night time, for all the police know they could be stolen goods.:001_smile:

If you have a guy in a motor with saws etc in it giving it 'its my brothers kit',a good thinking cop is going to give it a spin, too many reasons not to,& glad they aparently do,could have been anyones kit off of here on its way to a new 'home',& had it been those complaining now would have been jubilant at the efforts of the vigilant cop.:001_smile:

could the copper not have contacted you to see if your brother had permission to be in possession of your car and saws? Also surely they had a good nosey around your car to find them?

But they were not taken because theft was suspected.

Why was no one arrested??

Why was the owner of the saws/car not called??

Dunno mate, maybe we will get a better understanding when the saws are colected...:001_smile:

get yourself down to the police station, demand your property back, ask on whos authority they carried out an illegal search of your vehicle, and on what grounds, regester an official complaint againstr the officers concerned, and demand an apology fron the senior police officer. these days the police seem to think they can do as they please, you have to keep slapping them back into place and remind them there duty is to serve the public, not do as they like, do not under any circumstances take any excuses from them, they are the ones at fault and dont let them forget it.
