Get down the police station,or phone them up & get the facts from their perspective,dont blow your top or get shirty,you want your work tools back,& 'unreasonable aproach' wont help you achieve that.

I can understand your frustration,but keep the end goal in mind or you will likely get messed about.

A young guy with a chainsaw and samurai looking saw in the boot is not normal,

With the amount of thieves and nutters in the world I am glad these officers took them.

Your brother should not have access to this type of kit unless he is trained to use it, young lads have been known to do silly things :)
