The two men who put the limb onto the back of the truck have at least 40yrs experience as arborists between them and they certainly know the difference between a Cedar and an Oak. It came from a Cedar that was damaged in a storm at The Priory in Nun Monkton, North Yorkshire. I hope this will convince you lot who don't believe me.

 

maybe it got mixed up with other boards after being processed cos i am 100% sure its oak, i can even smell it :001_tt2:

No one is doubting you or the arborists.

 

There has been a mix up at some stage, prob the place where you got it planed and what you have back is oak.
