Dolmar 5105. Runs very well... until it cuts out. Seems to do it randomly too. Hot, cold, whatever. But only cuts out at idle. Otherwise, I am impressed.

If it is left on idle and then before it cuts out, you rev it up, does it pick up cleanly or does it smoke?

Also, from stone cold, does it pick up from idle to WOT immediately or doesit need a minute or so and some coaxing to get there?

Just wondering if the L screw is a little bit out!

Acts perfectly fine. She feels like she's lightly ported even though she is factory. I have a feeling it's the coil. When it cuts of, it is as though she just shuts off. I am gonna check the wiring again to make sure I didn't miss anything and then try another coil. Will a 420 coil work?

No idea, sometimes the coil body stays the same and just the HT lead needs lengthening on larger saws. As long as the coils body fits, it will probably run up.

Had to take apart my clutch on my 550 today to replace the oiler worm drive. I notice that my needle bearing was missing some needle to also replaced that. When I reassembled it all it would run due to the new needle bearing being too big. Does anyone know if they've changed and I have to replace the clutch assembly.

They new needle bearing has slightly diaganal needled instead of straight verticle.
