Forgotten about this thread! 12' x 9' now.

This is where £400 has got me, with enough 4x2 left to finish the roof.

Probably need another £200's worth of timber and fixings to finish, and £100's worth of roof sheets.

About half of the £1500 I was quoted, and made of much better timber.

I know it has cost me time, but it feels like being on holiday doing this stuff!

That's rubbish, the chipper is easy to steal and you will get soaked doing any maintenance:thumbdown:

Re think your plans mark :001_tt2:

Bugger.

I'll start again....

Looks really good. I built a smaller shed (bespoke to fit a certain size space in the garden) at our previous house, cost me about £150 in timber (so less than the equivalent size from a DIY place) but will probably still be standing in 40 years from now.

Only problem is, I sold the house 5 years ago so don't get to see it any more!

Looking good Mark. :001_smile:

For not a lot of money you could get a local engineering firm to weld you up a flange, bracket and clamp for the chipper spout, so you can fold it down rather than having to take it on and off every time you go through the shed door.
