Looks like the first ones pretty much sorted thanks but the second still undecided I had already ruled out Parrotia as the leaves were too symetrical and the bark not right and i thought cornus from a distance but the leaf veins neither had the stringy bits when pulled apart or were arranged correctly (curved from one end to other banana-ish) (makes sense in my head)..

the leaves could be magnolia but the bark maple

didnt get many but there is a slightly better one of the leaf and a not very clear one of the whole tree with the eucrphia (?) on the left
