My yard is full of Willow, Conifer and Poplar and am running out of space for the decent wood. I have tried to get in touch with Bio mass companies but so far no result. Do any of you have any surggestions as to what to do with it. I cant mix it in log loads as there is more rubbish than decent at the moment. Im based mid Suffolk.

Cheers Jay

I would be offering it for sale at a bargain basement price, plenty of folks buy it. I burned tons and tons of conifer last winter and it kept me plenty warm.

Oh and just realised how far away from me you are sadly! Would offer some cash if were a lot closer.

It depends on how much you have in the yard, how badly you want to clear it out and if you have a telehandler to load a bulker. If you have about 20-25 tonnes and you can chip it up you'll get paid by one of the biomass lads for the chip, you can get about £250-300 for an artic load of chip, it's not a lot but at least you get the yard cleared. If you have about 100 tonnes or more in your yard they will come and chip it up and take it away and it won't cost you.

We have been taking down very big horse chestnuts in the town center last week, and not wanting the wood we have been going for coffee leaving 5 foot lengths roadside and they vanish, even big trunk sections.I think we have saved moving 20/30 tons of crap this way,god bless joe public.
