Views please on carlton chains

I was looking on the box on a carlton chain i got as a spare with the stihl saw i bought from ebay it says made in usa so are they any good as my chainsaws have all got either stihl or oregon fitted

 

i even asked our local stihl repairer he tells me he sells loads no probs but iam stihl very wary of change etc and as there half the price i suppose you get what you pay for ??

you pay for what you get i think they are a load of crap I got one of ebay as a back up to see if there any good There's about 4 teeth facing left and 3 facing right Used it twice filed it it to shape and it was still blunt only coast me £4 still on the shelf Spend the extra get a stihl chain

I've only ever used one a few times on someone else's saw and din't really notice anything too bad with it. Am going to give it a try on my 353 as where we're cutting at the mo is really sandy and kicking the crap out of chains (never known it before where have had to tighten chains in between fill ups) so anything to save a few quid has got to be a good thing.

 

Am goign to try some multicut too but don't think that'll be any better for stretching, just keeping a bit sharper.
