Yeah, we ended up dangling a couple of ornaments just inside.  We really didn't fancy a plastic kestrel gently swinging in the lounge!

Hi, first time in this section. 

Found this in the garden today and I can't find anything on the web that looks like this Caterpillar.  About 40mm long. 

Any clues?

The Puss Moth we have and the one with the hairy caterpillars in the US are different species.

 

That said the UK one can squirt formic acid but that's nothing it seems to the effect of the US one's hairs.

That's a great haul.

I'll bid Brimstone Moth, Large and Small Elephant Hawks and a Buff Tip in there.  Pic 4 may well be a Carpet. Am I close?!
