Can you lower the chipper on that? It looks like the hopper sits very high.

I think It looks high because it’s on a bit of a slope, but once the hoppers open it’s pretty low and easy to feed. Tried to stick a better pic on to show you with the hopper down but can’t find one. Hopefully this gives you an idea.

Thankfully its not too bad in this case. The two bolts closest to the chassis rail have broken only 5mm subsurface.I should be able to extract the bolts without having to pull the gearbox.

 

Aparently not preloading the flange into the tourgue ball is a cause of this.
