Very cool!

1, how do you rate the corkscrew splitter? I'm thinking on putting 1 on my 3 tonner.

2, what's the story with your orange skid plate up front?

Cheers Stephen :-) she's a bit of a beast.

To be honest I've a hydraulic one on order at the moment only reason being if I'm doing stringy timber ie willow, poplar, it takes a bit of work separating the fibers that the screw doesn't split. I doubt you could beat it with a hydraulic splitter if your do straight grained hard wood. It's also great when it comes to knots. It rips them apart if you have the hp.

haha the orange is the Din plate. It's just the colour my mate painted it

New mog photos! Very nice Casto!:thumbup1:

In fact, I reckon I'm going to have to chat you up for a go in it at some point. I just couldn't believe the low down grunt that it's got compared to a normal 406 - it made the drive to the chip shop very entertaining!

Re. the screw splitter, I get on fine with mine. Very stringy stuff can need a pull now and again but I've never had one that I can't do. And for logs with knots or twisted grain it flies through faster than any ram splitter I've ever seen. I was doing some beech a while back and the grain was spiralling at about 35 degrees of of straight. Nothing else would touch it but my Hycrack popped it apart like it was a normal log. It doesn't seem to need a grain to follow.

Haha you better get your are down to the mog meet then mate! I'll try free up the spider frame to get the articulation back. Wonder how she handles doing 60mph off road?

Apparently I only have the small cone splitter?!? I've done probably done a couple of hundred tons with it and it's still going
