Should those hiring tree surgeons be reading this, take note!

 

and remember, if your ignorant to those working for you, when you ask "you couldnt just do this while your here could you" expect to be told certainly but it will cost you!

 

make the lads a brew, and they will most likely do you a favour

most offer tea over here, especially country people . one of our nicest customers (a well known agri machinery manifacturer) gives us a fry at 11 soupand sandwiches at 2 and coffee and biccies at 4. plus lads always get a tip. job always seems to overrun somehow

My policy has always been if your nice to us i'll happily wangle a few extras

(within reason)

I must say i'm pretty bad at making people tea, but i'll often show them where things are and let them help their selves.

Whether contractors are coming to my house or to my work, I'll always offer tea/coffee. Never batted an eyelid at it, just thought it was standard.

 

On private jobs, we get coffees about half the time. Always best to bring a few cans of Monster though just in case they aren't so generous!

Aw, shucks :blushing:

 

It hasn't stopped them starting up the sodding genies at stupid o'clock in the morning though! I might have to try a few custard creams with the tea next time if I want a lay in :biggrin:
