i know where you are coming from tom but i think you will struggle to get a climber in on £100 per day it costs me more on a weekday, weekends add at least 50% on top.

not digging at you we all get prices wrong at some point.

if you do get a climber to do it and i hope you do just treat it as a learning curve.

I see what you mean and i will be treating more then just a learning curve. Most of my work has been priced the same as other tree surgeons in the area its the odd job where it gets me.

Even if its just a climber on the ground it would give me some confidence and help me out a bit,

The thing with pricing is its a dependant on what kit you have and what you can tackle. I don't know what sort of level you are at with regard to taking climbing on, but if it was me in your situation, I'd pay whatever someone wanted to climb and help on the ground, just to get these out the way and soak up as much as you can. Ask questions and get involved. You have mentioned that you're a student in previous posts so don't beat yourself up over it, as others have mentioned, we've all done jobs where it's like we've quoted in the dark!! I'd pay what was needed to get them down. If you're starting out, It might be better to lose a bit more of the profit to save some face.

Its only a mistake if you don't learn from it mate.

Good luck
