I knew that Friday was going to be pants so pulled my finger out and did the jobs that were booked in for 5 days in 4, spent this morning looking at jobs, leaving the weekend with the kids .

Been a crazy fool in the past and worked 7 days a week for months on end but this job isnt a sprint is a marathon and pacing yourself for the long haul is the answer.

have you felt the wind up here? call me soft (go on then...) I'd rather be here than in a sitka wood with tops snapping everywhere!!!

Besides, what better way to spend a friday afternoon!

Apparently we have a piffling 26mph here in Edinburgh Iain, but according to Cairngorm ski centre, it's gusting 140mph there!
