had a couple of inches here in the early hours

In Warwick, a bit of snow yesterday, about another half inch overnight, but has been snowing continuously since about 8:30 this morning and forecast to do so through until about 9pm tonight.

 

Not particularly big flakes but constant and fairly intense - if it was rain I would describe it as heavy drizzle...

Had 5" last night, but nothing since. Fortunately my farming neighbour has scraped the road out, so log deliveries all day. It's gone baltic now, so we'll be skating on the ice in the am, that's if there's no more fluffy white to contend with.

Too right, especially with that poxy little road thru the wood! Last lot of snow ment he was only about in the mog, I bet he loved going shopping in that!

The Toyota is really quite nice; very very shiny and goes really well and even averages 30mpg - but won't tow very much for the size of it. I had to tow one of the "projects" back from the unit with the 90 as it was too heavy for the hilux

 

Is the tango van the white one? If so, it's still there too

Why is it that when us here (in the northwest) have snow, specifically deaths on the road (M61 - J8,J9, M6 - J22-27), people getting stuck and abandoned, and just downright bad conditions (even though the snow is ace) do the SOUTH, specifically london have one or too flakes of snow and its a major disaster!!?? No reports of us up here or nothin, and this happens all the time?
