chainsaw boots, DO work...

nope,, as it hit me i pulled away,, it took a load of wadding, but it came off ok,, i pretty much jumped out of the tree to get to the ground and check my foot as it hit hard enough for me to think i'd cut myself badly as it hurt like hell,,,

 

Looks nasty. I'm glad it didn't hurt you too badly. I threw a 20" chain off a 660 which made a mess off the chain catcher and hit my boot. Didn't damage it but i thought my foot was bleeding. It hurt so much and ached for a day or so.

not sure what model, but they are/ were alico boots,

 

tried loads on,, and coming from a background in footwear i was fussy on fit and comfort,, have to say they blew the others out of the water,, especially the hiax things,,, buckets would be more comfy than those things,.,,

what a silly mistake.

 

yes it was,,, but i guess i'm not the first person to do it,, otherwise why do we have chainsaw boots in the first place,,

 

darren...I posted the photo as an example to others,,, not to be told what a muppet i was,, i knew that already...:sneaky2:

 

and i'm assuming you report EVERY little near miss????:sneaky2:

 

nigel,, they do look alot like the stein ones,, cannot for the life of me find another pair now though,, even the alico site does not show them,,,,

 

guess i need to go boot shopping..
