First time in years I've missed the local parade, done me back in and need to get sorted for tomorrow, Mrs Egg went to pay our respect. We will never forget.

Found it hard to forget today. Bikers with poppies, flags flying, red tee shirts and police escorts were doing a run on the clockwise carriageway of the m25 today.

 

I reckon easily, 300+ bikes went past us.

Wife and I are wearing ours permanently now, got them done last month, my gran passed last year she was the last of that generation in my family, my grandfather's and grand uncles all served in ww2 and great grandfather's and great uncles served in ww2, lest we forget.

noticed at the wreath laying today that a lot more youngsters are getting involved, defineately seems that the younger generation are taking more notice of what the ceremony means
