General Tree pics

It won't be Scotland.

 

The big Man is on my guys at the borders watch out list!:biggrin:

 

 

Haha! I may see if I can sneak in stealth mode sometime, see how far we can get😎

 

The tree is up in the dales national park. It's on the side of the B6255 between Hawes and Ingleton.

 

I spotted it and had to have a pic. You can imagine the comments from in the car!!

 

What the pic doesn't show is that the rock had no major flaw. The tree was simply growing in a depression/crack on its top, no trace of rock fault or roots lower down. Intriguing to say the least.

Good day helping Ross Smith and the boys take down a biggish Beech with decayed roots.

Ross climbed, but was assisted by World Champ Scott Forrest running the rigging.
