When you have my level of expertise David you live by the axiom that if you throw enough you-know-what against a wall some will stick.

 

All those trees were within 10 minutes walk of the house; imagine what more spectacular specimens are out there.

Harvest is in full swing but they had devastating rain on two consecutive nights some weeks ago and a lot of erosion was done. It's illegal to plough the groves now but does that make any difference in Spain?! Countless acres of almost lifeless monoculture...

Nice pics mate I don't know anything about olive trees but they sure seem like they can survive some. Love how they twist all over the place

First day back to work today, small lawson cypress takedown, and the Kelly kettles first outing, had a laugh getting it lit as everything is still wet but 5mins later and she was boiled, brilliant invention, Yale kernmaster rope also got broke in and really nice to use, gloves are a must as 11mm and slippery sheave is hard to grip but really liked it
