Out of interest, do the Parks departments where you are in Poland, consider leaving dead monitored tree trunks, standing for habitat ?

No just lots of looking on the net and i got myself a set of "selma fids" which had some instructions in the pack. Not the best instructions. Would love to go on a course. One of the skills i would love to have...

in city parks - no, in forest's - yes, in PL we must leave 5% trees from the part of forest when we cut to natural death. when we cut in city parks- we mast clean-up all wood.
