Update on the brown Oak.

Local sawmill were not interested at all, even for nowt! Customer wouldn't let me keep the stems so I had to log it for him (sorry Rob D. and Tommer!).

What a bloody waste. Got a few good bits for Ian to turn, and can go back for more.

In reality, only one stem was deep brown, and whilst too big for my Alaskan had a fair few shakes and metal in it.

Pics and vid to follow when I get to grips with my new IMpodWalkmanDiscphone or whatever.

Big day for a two man team. Cheers Rich.

A dead robinia from friday and a couple from today, we were near the airport so no surprise when a helicopter came in low nearby.... then it got lower and lower, then I was getting blasted by snow it bolwing up.. by the time I had got the camera out it had nearly landed. Turns out its one of the neighbours and that its what the guy commutes in. Kind of a rich neighbourhood.:001_smile:Photo005.jpg.470ac79f5b1d1195f00e7ae6f0cef7e7.jpg

Hedgetastic!!

Been removing this dirty big macro hedge this week, has been about 25c+ this week which is hard work, still another day left to finish(luckly not for me)

Pretty easy getting it down just cutting it up and chipping it is not fun!

What we found in the hedge was 5 signs(in good condition) about a million tennis balls,A pint glass with handle,Bottles,3 live mice,a wire fence with metal stakes, and a rotten dildo/strap on.
