That's an easy one Carlos.

It's a ridiculously expensive and complicated way of tying a running bowline.

I was wondering what was people's thoughts were on this.

Working on some whitebeams today when I've come across some old cable bracing. It can't be adjusted and it's tight solid.

My plan was to remove it and put in cobra bracing slightly higher. Then drill through and put some plate bracing on the union.

Looks more like Acer, to me.

leave it mate or replace wit another static brace, it looks like it has been there a while and changing the forces on the reaction wood by installing a dynamic system could cause trouble , bolting is an option but id opt for a light reduction and a replacement static brace.

A nice pic of nz ( well I think so!!) about 6kms from Hobbiton ( for real), lifting and thinning every tree in every paddock.
