Snap hooks are the way for sure! but here in NZ there are banned, are they sweet to use in the uk? different setup for sure tho.

I've bought some shackles to try and also a couple of delta maillon rapides to see if that's any different. May aswell give it a go!

The only thing is there not rated for suspension. The only harness with lower d's rated for suspension is the treemotion. So dont go dangling from them:001_tongue:.

I personally feel that petzl misssed a bit of a trick there:confused1:

 

 

How can be rated less than the bridge, when the bridge attatches to them?

the gold rings are in fact rated as side Ds, look at the label, the side ds have the same EN number as the gold rings, odd really!

 

how about this for a mod, dont know whether i would actually trust it though because of where its connected to the bridge?

 

what do you think? its nice with the maillons, they are really easy to get one handed, the shackles arent, they sit loose.

I don't have that harness rob, but that does look like it may be putting pressure on the stiching on the bridge.

I thought that as I was putting it together. Plus you'd only be attached to 1 layer of fabric which I'm sure isn't good!
