Ok i'm in the market for a new pair of boots as my sole fell off on friday... i've been looking through the forums for all peoples opinions on different boots, the pro's, the con's, the prices etc. But i can't seem to find one definitive post dedicated to the boot!:confused1:

So as there has been a recent poll on chainsaw pants i thought i'd make one on the boot.

At the moment i'm torn between the Klima air tirol's, meindl airstreams and the Haix Airpower Gold but unsure on which to choose?

All comments and opinions are greatly appreciated:thumbup:

Protector lights, the mobility is brilliant, especially in trees and their durability means they've already outlasted my old stihls with plenty of life left to boot (boom boom)

Nothing in the way of gore-texy lining, but I've not had soaked feet in them once, not even on hot dry days! :001_tt2:

Haix Protector for me, I'm on my 8th pair.

They require no maintenance and are like wearing slippers straight from the box.

I used to have real problems with my feet, chilblains and the like, I now never give my feet a second thought, they are always 100% dry, even when the rest of me is soaked to the skin.

They are expensive and rarely last more than 12 months, but are worth every penny in my book.
