You could make a noise. May not be English. But it may be loud enough!

 

I have a whistle in my tool box. Keep a first aid with a very sharp rescue knife on my harness and 10 man first aid kit in the truck behind the seat. Along with a fire extinguisher plenty of paper towels and a spare hi viz vest. And a few choccy wrappers!

 

I bought a cheap whistle from somewhere. Sends the dogs mad and is nice and audible!

People react quicker to high frequencies, that's why smoke alarms beep like they do. A bass bin just wouldn't do it. If you need attention quick, then a whistle's probably the best way to get it. I can whistle canny loud, I'd never thought about doing it with a broken jaw though. I think I might buy a whistle, a nose whistle...
