  1. hello all. its been a while for me posting on the forum. busy cutting and sea kayaking. my friend and i will be kayaking from Gibraltar to the west coast of France, its about 750miles we will be taking all equipment we need with us. i would like it if everyone can have a look at the donation page and donate to the cause.     hope college arnt working you too hard, i am still working with mike, i havent been on here for ages, was looking for some insurance and found your message.

    im getting a new saw today hope to get the new 560 now that they have changed the chip and it works.

    so whats new in the college scene? when are you doing the level 3 in forestry. i saw the write up in the forestry journal. it true what was said except cost of petrol per week.

  3. the same thing happened with mine, inside the hub there is a ring which engages the 4x4 have a look at the exploding diag. the hub is easy to take appart and check it. it was £65 for a new ring. the manual hubs are about £180 for the pair. or find a scrap one and get the hub off.
  4. it was a supprise as it hopped past me, 10ft away and stopped had a scratch then hopped off the track and into the wood.
  5. is it auto hub. if so take apart and regrease, if this doesnt work it may be the engaging ring(or something) check if the front wheel drive shaft spinns when in 4x4 if they do then its the hubs you can get manual hubs on cheesebay. hope this helps

  8. here are a few of my bike on a trip to nord kapp. amazing fun did over 5000m in 2 weeks 2500 in 3 days 2up. did lands end to john ogroats at an adverage speed of 71mph mental half day. l

  15. how about puting a small ratchet winch 6ft off ground and ust the winch to lift pull them along. i have been having the same problem but have the use of tractor and use skidder grab or chain.
  16. woopse. hambeldon your right there are glow worms. the trees are amazing all contorted. have been there a few times now, kinda spooky
  17. apparently the yew forest on hod hill is the biggest in europe. or so i am told.
  18. i use them and they are the etc of the etc. really good in the canopy and great on the ground. would recomend them to anyone. plus you dont really notice the mesh vision until it gets dark.

  21. just spoke to a company near me and they were broken into last weekend and had about 10grands worth of saws and kit stolen. the chippers were left but all the all saws were taken from inside a locked container inside a locked shed. so again if anyone is offered anything round somerset dorset wiltshire please let me know. my condolences to anyone who has gone through this before near to christmas i spose. be vigilant out there cheers
