Hi there, I am living in Somerset near Somerton working as a Timer Frame Builder. The work is going well but we are coming to the end of a job and I don’t know when the next one will be starting, it could be any where between 2 weeks to 3 months. I took my chainsaw certificates in March this year and I am looking to find some grounds-man work but I am more than happy with any work at all, I can work long days and weekends as well if needed. I have my own gear and transport, although it is all a bit knackered and so I would like to earn enough to buy some new gear like helmet, trousers and boots. I am looking for some work in Somerset, preferably around Yeovil. I have been working as a groundsman for Theocus Arbouriculture in Tewksbury, Glouchester and would really like to get into tree surgery as a career.
