  5. has anyone ever thought of warming up the home shed with hose pipe or standard copper pipe in a pile of chipping with a water pump maybe powered by wind, pumping water around the radiators. you could heat a farm house or something with space. when the chipping has dried it could be used in a turbine. few problems, like leach and what to do with it. i thought you could have something like a small grain silo chipping fed into the top leach and chipps out the bottom. why isnt this being doneor have i missed something????????

  9. when you have covered up a fuel/oil spill with chipping and sawdust complimented someone even when you think there work/action is crap......(just so you dont have to put up with their questioning on the way home) you can sharpen a saw by hugging it like your mothering the dog/or sat in the driving seat of the van/truck/4x4 you get the "i love big toppage" syndrome you love stunt felling especialy if you have an audience + every other tree surgeon is a pikey

  12. i heard that you shouldnt cut london plane when it has leaf on as it causes cancer. is this true or is it a myth? is it just planes from large towns as car fumes can lay on the bark and become concentrated so cutting and chipping can be poisonous?
  13. i remember doing something like that as a teen. i lept upto a branch and wrapped my arms and legs round the branch, it snapped and i hit the deck still with arms and legs wrapped round the branch. i really winded myself and had a hard time standing. wish it was on film
