  4. it should be good for the canopy thing and taking close up pics of fungi. it will be in my pocket or round my neck to avoid damage i was particularly interested in the macro ilumination and distance as insects will be getting photographed.

i seem to be lucky and my misses hates the show. if it was me giving my best/worst i would get a load of saws that sound different and play a tune with them.
  7. landys are the easiest vehicles to ring. people also flog on the parts as there is always a demand. sorry for you and your loss
  8. try cusses gorse the motorx track near amesbury. i used to tip there with another company.
  9. i love the old yews what was the distance around that old beast?
  10. true the hamocks are great. getting in isnt that hard as it has a full length zip on one side hopefully you will be able to make it out. it would be good for places with bug problems. i usualy take my therma rest and use that in the hamock if its cold the hammock in the background is made by katmandu and the mozie one is an american import i got about 10 years ago
  11. last saturday i went camping with my other half and took the hamock with us. my best one has a mozie net built in and also has a waterproof top. the rope on the ends is a bit bulky and i will upgrade to para courd. the whole thing fits down to the size of a loaf of bread.

  13. was going till monday night. i had a water fight with my friends kids. all was going well i won the cartwheel and hand stand comp, then at the end of the water fight i jumped into the kids pool and landed on my arm and shoulder and havent been to work since. was looking forward to the bat seminar..... dam it
  14. cheers will. ben90 i forgot to use the micro. getting an upgrade soon its not too exposed. its right outside the shed in the wood. the crown is pretty tight and hasnt a massive spread. little bit of decline. i was thinking about a reduction and a deadwood. felling is an option. is the fungi going to stain the wood grain, will this make it better for planking or is it going to become powdery?
  15. found these babies i think that its Inonotus dradeus. shame my camera isnt amazing. these are in a wooded area next to a shed. i dont really want to spend loads getting it sorted, if anything can be done and i understand the roots may fracture. is felling the only way. thanks
  16. i kinda fell over them running around looking for planted trees to check and clear the vegatation from. there were a few more around the wood but i was gettin busy and didnt have time to take any more photos. i have been looking out for fungi and there are loads out there but my phone camera needs an upgrade.
  17. as there seemed to be a difference in how much was needed i went to my local husky dealer and by the book the 3120xp takes 33:1. i also got some husky xp 2 stroke oil for it.
  18. yep she is all ready to rock. got a big oak to strip and fell next week. so it will be good to get some use out of it. cheers to all for the input
  19. no joke tommer. just was lookin on other sites someone was usin 25=1. i use a syringe to get the 100ml per 5 litres but as the size of the engine was going to maybe put a little extra in just to be safe.
  20. what is the correct oil mix for a 3120xp? thanks in advance
  21. just ask for a photo as proof if they havent got photographic proof. woopee no ticket
