I find that a long straw is most usefull in these situations, complete with a small pump that attaches to the mug. Thus minimising the amount of sucking required once above 50'

'Only for the kettle!' with a cheeky wink usually makes for a nice day.

 

Has anyone else noticed that even a crappy job in harsh weather becomes OK if a kind customer is supplying fresh, hot, strong brews at timely intervals?

It is rather amusing as whenever we do any tree work near houses on the Trailways we always get a nice steady supply of teas, coffees, various cakes and biscuits. We even had one member of the public buy us all fish and chips one day. As we were doin such a sterling job in felling some horrid trees that leant over his house. We were so chuffed with his custom we cut all of the logs to his desired length and stacked them in his woodstore for him.
