Sluts Hole Lane in Besthorpe, Norfolk, survived a residents' petition for a change last year. Historically unsmutty, it comes from the Dutch word for sluice, used in draining the fens.

We have a Badgers Mount and a Pratts Bottom near here.:001_smile:

 

A house just round the corner is called Badgers Bottom and it's only 30 years old.

i went to look at a job with hodge once at a house called dickintake.

 

Ha,ha, very true:thumbup: there is also a street called black dyke lane.
