Was chatting to a couple of people today about religion etc and we were wondering if there was a fair share of religious arborists.......

I know people think its a taboo subject or have strong feelings about religion, but who is religious and who isnt....

A question I find keeps coming round as I get older, and as yet have no discernable view either way.

Will ponder on this one a while yet.

A bit personal, but a potentialy very absorbing thread Chris:icon14:

wonder how far this thread goes before it has to be closed!

Depends on the question being asked- in this case it's a yes or no and perhaps a little more, and if people can be respectfull, which I hope they can, I can't see an issue.

Pesonally i'm not a religeous man. but I know quite a few local arborists who are

Totally non religous.

I have no objections to any religion at all and would encourage it if it helped that individual to live a fulfilled and better life.

Provided that it isn't forced upon anyone else or shoved in other peoples faces.

Knocking on doors really does my head in, my mate suffers from being woken at certain times of the day by loud hailers after he's been on nightshifts.

I suppose you could argue a case for church bells, they used to do my head in when I lived up Queensbury.

If it is kept behind respective doors and doesn't encompass the local non believing resident as a captive uaudience then I have no objections. You can worship cats if you so wish.
