I like the Stein one too and although we sell them that comment is based on the fact that i have one and when i climb in it it doesn't snag on branches and i havent been wet yet even though there not classed as tottaly water proof.

Drew, hows it going dude? The cut and climb jacket is my old treetop jacket. exactly the same design and fabric and all of the treetops out there are still going strong.

 

I can highly recommend them as they were well and truly tested and faffed with then and not much has changed.

The good old MOD issue Gore tex jacket ia a winner. Not fashionable and defo not Hi Viz!!! But it works well and does the job.

Also the Berghaus RG 1 jacket, cracking bit of kit!!

I thought they were similar rob! Hope it's workin out for you bro, I tried one in auckland but maybe a Bit warm in the stupid city weather of torrential rain then burning sun then rain then burning sun etc... Real nice for climbing though bro. What are you uptoo these days anyway?

 

For the record I've got a new macapac jacket made from event fabric that's super breathable and waterproof - great for climbing but not sure how long it would last.
