Which herbicide?

Since amcide has disappeared, what do people use now? I need to poison the weeds in my garden.

i use glyfos its the brand name the stuff even kills and rots stumps

I used glyphos on it's own for non residual and just add Chikara to the mix for a 6 month weed free residual mix.

 

Chikara is awesome stuff for preventing long term regrowth

You can also use Super Selective which will kill all your weeds and ignore your grass.

 

Pistol is good and will get rid of marestail which glpyh wont touch.

 

For most general use glyphosate is your best option.

regular glyphosate based stuff is ok, but its just a basic contact. slap it on neat for tree stumps sometimes works.

 

should be ok for weeds, just might need several apps for new weeds coming through, best to put on a tad stronger mix.

Masstock Arable at burton on trent were selling 5 litres of Glyphogan for about £35 if thats any good to you, not sure if they deliver in your area, I'll look the number out if you want it
